Scoreboard Installed in Lebanon to Ensure Israel Wages "Proportioned" War
On the heels of the European Union’s claim that Israel’s response to the kidnapping of three of their soldiers was “disproportionate,” the UN has installed a team of referees and a scoreboard in Lebanon to ensure that Israel does not attempt to take the upper hand in the seven day battle.
“War is supposed to be a properly proportioned affair,” said French EU rep Pierre Sacklesswuss. “Just because Israel has spent the last several decades building one of the world’s most formidable militaries while Hezbollah has spent their time figuring out how to get ball bearings into flying garbage cans, does not mean that Israel should enjoy an unfair advantage.”
