Relacionado con lo que venimos hablando por acá sobre el envío de tropas adicionales a Irak, ¿es imposible para las fuerzas regulares vencer a insurgentes que utilizan tácticas de guerra de guerrillas? Parece que no es tan así la cosa (visto en Barcepundit):

Sending more American troops into Iraq with the aim of pacifying Baghdad could provide a foundation for their ultimate defeat, but only if the United States does not repeat its previous mistakes.

ReplyDeleteNo tiene nada que ver, pero el otro dia lei que no hay dos paises en los cuales haya franchise de McDonald's que hayan entrado en guerra entre si.
ReplyDeleteEs verdad que los guerrilleros muy pocas veces han vencido. El caso de Cuba es especial porque Batista, que era un sargento inflado a general, había destrozado el ejército regular y lo que enfrentó a Castro y sus secueces era una especie de milicia muy poco profesional.
