Un país gobernado por fantasmas

No se pierdan la columna de James Neilson que colgó Jimmy:

Argentina is one of the most conservative countries on earth. Most significant political movements are in thrall to departed leaders. Instead of anything one might describe as an ideology, what holds them together is nostalgia for a charismatic caudillo. In their way, they resemble religious cults. This is especially true of Peronism, most of whose votaries are still in mourning for the man they call “the general” and his second wife, Evita, though some look back even further and idolize Juan Manuel de Rosas, the nineteenth-century “restorer of the laws.”
