Independientemente del problema, la solución siempre pasa por más estado/gobierno.
La sensación muy fuerte que me queda es que primero viene el deseo de más estado/gobierno y después salen a buscar los justificativos:

That’s what they want to do about global warming. It’s what they wanted to do about overpopulation. It’s what they wanted to do about endangered species.
