Más del “profiling”

Más sobre el “profiling”, prestar más atención a personas de ciertos grupos étnicos y religiosos. Tema complicado. Creo que es caminar por un estrecho sendero y existe un riesgo cierto de caer en excesos. Pero también creo que no nos podemos dar el lujo de no tomar en cuenta consideraciones de ese tipo. Como dice el artículo que posteó Ramiro:

Nobody is suggesting using ethnicity or religion as the only -- or even the primary -- factors in profiling possible terrorists. But it also makes no sense to take zero account of the fact that every suicide attack against U.S. aviation to date has been perpetrated by men of Muslim origin. While al Qaeda is no doubt seeking recruits who don't obviously display such characteristics, that doesn't mean we should ignore the likeliest candidates.

Todo un tema, creo que tenemos que tener mucho cuidado con todo esto y, como en otras áreas, es bueno que existan voces en disidencia.
