Cuando veo Irán a través de las películas -al igual que cuando escuchaba historias de mis vecinos iraníes sobre su país- me viene a la mente inmediatamente mi país de origen. Lean este fragmento del artículo y reemplacen Kirchner por Ahmadinejad, divisas por petróleo, Argentina/argentinos por Iran/Iranian people. Alguna diferencia? No en absoluto.
Under Ahmadinejad, Iran’s mullahs have gone on a domestic subsidy binge — using oil money to cushion the prices of food, gasoline, mortgages and to create jobs — to buy off the Iranian people. But the one thing Ahmadinejad couldn’t buy was real economic growth.
