¿Se acuerdan que en agosto del año pasado un pasajero de la línea de ómnibus Greyhound mató a puñaladas, decapitó y comió parcialmente a otro pasajero en Manitoba?
Hoy leo que aparentemente los efectivos de la RCMP, la famosa policía montada de Canadá que, salvo en Ontario y Québec, hace las veces de policía provincial en el país, estuvieron esperando cuatro horas y media afuera del ómnibus, dándole tiempo al asesino de terminar de reventar a su pobre víctima.
¿Qué joraca pasa en Occidente? ¿Es por la corrección política?
Luis, lo de la policia es tremendo. Pero la "actuacion" de los pasajeros no se queda atras:

The attacker “did not pay any attention to the other passengers” and at one point was stabbing his victim “as he lay on the floor.” That’s difficult to do. You have to lean over. Yet there is no suggestion in the “agreed statement” that anyone attempted to disarm the “oblivious” Mr Li. I wonder if, in Tim McLean’s last conscious moments, he was aware that his fellow passengers had “vacated” the bus and barricaded him in with his murderer.
