Avisos de campaña electoral en Israel

1) The State Is Stripping Us !  (Yamil Santoro y Samantha Farjat fueron pioneros !)
In the video, one sees a shapely woman with long blond hair who explains she finished her 12 years of schooling, served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and got a college degree. She says she wants to describe for the viewers all the burdens the average Israeli has to carry.

She proceeds to list the items for which Israelis have to pay, like income tax, value added tax (VAT), social security, gas, housing, electricity, property tax, and water and one by one with each payment she strips off a piece of clothing until she’s down to her red bra and animal print underpants. As she removes her bra, a banner covers her bare breasts saying “The state is stripping us!”

Two of the politicians on the party list – with straight faces – walk onscreen, further blocking the view of her breasts, and present their campaign talking points.

Those two politicians are Danny and Benny Goldstein, brothers originally from New York, who say that if elected they will stop the government from “stripping” its citizens.

2) El partido Verde genera emisiones de metano
The Green Party, running on an environmentalist platform, released some methane to promote its candidates in a video titled “Elected leaders fart on Rothschild.” Rothschild is the name of the boulevard in Tel Aviv that was ground zero to the social protests in the summer of 2011.

The ad shows actors with masks depicting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Labor Party leader Shelly Yachimovich and former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman pretending to fart with loud sound effects, eliciting shocked looks from bystanders at cafes and on benches.

The banner that emerges at the end of the ad says: “Only the Greens fight pollution.”
